You can grant access for a specified duration. For security reasons, the maximum period for granting access is limited to one year. During the time you have granted access, we can use your login and access your data to help you resolve any problems.
 

How to Grant Login Access to Support

To grant login access:

1. At the top of any Salesforce page, click your Avatar, then select Settings.
2. From the left pane, select:
    My Personal information > Grant Account Login Access
3. Set the access expiration date by choosing a value from the picklist alongside the row for Precursive Support or Precursive Ltd Support depending on the version running within your Organization.
4. Click Save.

If an administrator, support representative, or publisher makes setup changes using your login, the setup audit trail lists those changes, including the username of the delegate user who made the changes.

This mechanism provides auditable, time-restricted access to your environment. Only specific members of the team with sufficient training are permitted to log into your environment using this method. We will always request login access along with a reason why access is required, how long access is required and an outline for any actions we will perform with the access. Use of “Grant Login Access” is at the discretion of the subscriber and end-user. However not adopting this feature will likely increase the time to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
